Spartans Second Team Qualifies for Playoffs

Southampton Spartans second team played their last match of the season on 24th April at home against Southampton University second team. Spartans seconds need a win to secure a place in the playoffs for promotion into Division 1 for seasons 16-17.

The match started a little sluggish with the score fairly even, which is not surprising with such a long break since the last match. As we entered the second half, the team began to pick up the pace and manage to win 16-10!

The playoffs for promotion into Division 1 will be on 8th May in Oxford. Good luck!
